The Six Rivers Foundation works to protect and rebuild vital wildlife habits in the river systems of remote Northeast Iceland, and the unmapped wetlands of Tanzania.
Work in both regions aims to develop a detailed scientific understanding of the ecosystems and threats to the native wildlife. Working with world class researchers to map species present, and sensitive ways to protect and preserve them for the future.
Both projects also work with the local communities to develop small-scale, sustainable tourism to fund direct conservation research and promote future protection of these invaluable places.
